Description: In POS, while a cashier or salesperson is ringing up a transaction, the error message "Exception 'InvalidOperationException' has been thrown" displays. After the error message displays, the cashier or salesperson cannot scan or manually add items to the transaction.
Workaround:
- Tap OK to acknowledge the error.
- Continue scanning or manually adding items to the transaction.
- Tender the transaction.
Troubleshooting:
- If RMH was recently upgraded:
- Check the release notes for known issues.
- Check the release documentation for changes to the POS commands.
- Check the release documentation for changes to the database and schema.
- If the store uses a third party extension for POS, contact the company that sells and maintains the extension to ensure it is compatible with the latest RMH release.
